Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a well-known British film and stage actress which gained more attention when she appeared in the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was famous for her character Tish Jones on the series by BBC. She was the daughter of the main character who was named Martha Jones. The audience loved her cheerful energy and spontaneity, and there was no turning back for Gugu after a successful career in acting! Her other stage and TV productions in Britain include several others. Her work has garnered critical acclaim for her roles in British period dramas like 'Belle' (2013) and 'Beyond the Lights' (2014). In American productions, she has appeared on TV series like "Undercover" as well as "Touch" and "Touch," as well as Tom Hanks' comedy film, Larry Crowne. Gugu Mbatha-Raw played the lead role in 'Nell ' the play written that was written by Jessica Swale, as a character who was an actress and also the mistress of King Charles II of England and Scotland. Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th of February, 1975. The family was comprised of six family members and Chelsea Joy Handler being the youngest. Handler was the child of a salesman and a housewife. Her mother immigrated to America in 1958 after emigrating from Germany. She had been diagnosed with breast carcinoma in 1989. Handler's dad is Jewish so she raised to Reform Judaism. Handler was raised in a safe area and had a happy childhood. Handler moved into Los Angeles when she was 19 years old, to pursue acting. Handler had to turn into an actress to make ends meet. Handler took the decision to pursue stand-up acting after she turned 21 following the realization of her storytelling skills. Handler began her professional career joining the female-only Oxygen cast, which was a part of a television show called Girls Behaving Badly. The show was renowned for its secret camera and the practical joke. From 2002 to 2005, the series aired. Handler went on to work in numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler is also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. The biggest break for Handler occurred in 2006, when she began hosting her show on E! The Chelsea Handler Program. The show lasted 2 seasons. Handler later performed in the US on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. In 2010 the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. In doing so, she was the second female host to be announced after Roseanne.
