Morgan was featured in an informative video Safe Sex for Men and Women that addressed AIDS prevention and education. Proceeds from the video was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been involved in numerous fundraising initiatives in support of the condition and testified in a Congressional Special Committee regarding AIDS Education. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar's Board of Directors. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has requested her to be his substitute during AIDS celebrations and she's hosted an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. She's appeared on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was awarded one Emmy Award in Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was made specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife along with Joan Rivers. Summer began by presenting Murder At The PTA Luncheon, produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams as well appeared. Her next film was Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan also starred in the thriller of psychological suspense made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the history of the network.
